The Kotka plugin operates entirely server-side and processes the following data in memory at runtime:
- Player movement and packet data — used exclusively for real-time cheat detection. Not persisted beyond the session unless explicitly configured.
- Violation profiles — per-player violation level accumulators stored in server memory and optionally persisted to local disk by your server. This data never leaves your server unless you export it yourself.
- Connection metadata — ping samples and protocol version, used for latency compensation. Held in memory only, discarded on disconnect.
Kotka does not transmit any player data to external servers, APIs, or third parties. All processing is local to your Minecraft server instance.
3. Data Collected by This Website
When you visit this website we may collect:

- Basic analytics — anonymised page view data may be collected via hosting infrastructure. No personally identifiable information is tied to these records.
4. Server Operator Responsibilities
If you operate a Minecraft server using Kotka, you are the data controller for any player data processed by the plugin on your server. You are responsible for:
- Informing your players that an anticheat plugin processes their movement and packet data.
- Complying with applicable data protection laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) in your jurisdiction.
- Securing any violation logs or player data you choose to persist.
5. Data Retention
We do not operate a central database of player data. Any data retained by the plugin on your server is controlled entirely by you. Contact inquiry emails are retained only as long as necessary to resolve the inquiry.
